Aloha is an experienced IB Educator, serving various roles as workshop leader, school visit leader, member, and consultant. She has taught Languages A and B in Diploma, Language and literature in MYP, and has coordinated the MYP. She has experienced whole-school curriculum leadership working with PYP, MYP and DP.
Her most recent inquiry was into the effects of cognitive coaching on professional learning in an IB school, which helped her earn a doctorate with Nova Southeastern University. She continues to be enthused by the developing coherence and articulation throughout the IB continuum.
Aloha is a former Principal, Director of Curriculum and Instruction, and MYP Coordinator in different schools in Asia Pacific and Europe. She is currently the Director of Curriculum at an international school in Asia.
