As you READ your chosen text, you will be annotating it. Here is an illustration of what types of thinking you can use to annotate your text. You can use all of these to form a set of reader responses to the text.

Are we to write notes on every single pages while annotating? Or annotations doesn’t have to fill the whole book?
Annotations are not on every page, usually, unless the book is so brilliant you must annotate every page! Pick out significant passages and annotate with your thoughts.
